Sexy Wrestling Gear - Part 3

The most conservative of wrestling attire (aside from wrestling in shirts) are the pants and singlets. Fortunately it seems like fewer wrestlers these days are covering their bodies, but there are still a handful who prefer this look. Below is a look at some standout attire. Previous in the sexy wrestling gear series: briefs and shorts.

The tight, often spandex, bottoms often do a fine job of showcasing what's underneath (especially the ass) while drawing the eye above to the skin that is visible. This makes them fine for the muscly Buff Bagwell whose chest is heaven, while leaner wrestlers, like Johnny Morrison and Trent Baretta, extenuates their chiseled, slender frames. While the pants are more conservative attire, they allow for more radical design and colors like Morrison's True Religion-like bottoms or drawn graphics like Heath Slaters's. And finally, there's the sexy, tight leather pants that members of 3MB (including Drew McIntyre) don that creates a whole new level of fantasy.
When Zack Ryder debuted his new gimmick he came with a flashy one-legged pants attire. The look was ridiculous, but it did draw attention to Zack's crotch (especially if his legs ever separated more than a foot.) Fortunately the half-pants were replaced with skimpier briefs and no one else has tried to pull off the imbalanced look.
While I'm never a fan of anyone who switches from briefs to pants, Johnny Curtis a.k.a. Fandango makes a good case for it. With his new dancing persona, Fandango now dons tight bell-bottoms that highlight his ass like nobody's business.
Singlets are the traditional uniform for athletic wrestling. While much of the body is covered, including their pecs, the tight fitting gear still shows plenty. Jimmy Powers, the buff WCW jobber, wore numerous sexy singlets that still showed his perfect body and ass. And on the rare, rare occasions he won, he'd strip the straps off and reveal his chest, a prize for fans. Since so few wrestlers wear the singlets, it does make those who don them stand out, like Ryback and Jack Swagger, and the beefy Colt Cabana is an instant standout because of his multi-patterned singlets.
The muscular WCW tag team High Voltage wore skimpy singlets which were nothing more than shorts with straps. The tights had bright, neon colors and later were sexy, slick latex. The best part of High Voltage's singlets were when the match was nearing an end and they (usually Rage) rip their straps off revealing their perfect bodies in all their glory and giving the fans a glimpse at everything.
Big E Langston made his debut in a traditional singlet, but then, perhaps to distinguish him from Ryback, he switched to singlets with no legs. He's not the first or only one to don them -- Big Vito and Brodus Clay wore/wear them -- but he's the sexiest. And with the new legless attire his package is on full display. Just like High Voltage, the big man puts on a little strip show near the end of matches, revealing his gigantic chest.
