The Low-Rise Brief
These men couldn't be wearing anything less unless they came out in a thong. The high cut legs show off the thighs, the minimal material usually makes their package protrude, and the low waist draws attention to their lower abs. The wild patterns and colors of Justin Gabriel's briefs make the most of their limited canvas, Johnny Stamboli's silver briefs are a classic, and Rob Terry's tights couldn't look any smaller on the muscle man.
The Regular Brief
The standard gear for most wrestlers. The cut of the leg doesn't come so high and the waist doesn't come as low, but in general it's like they're wrestling in their underwear. The color choice (particularly white, silver or anything bright) can make them more appealing, as well as the type of material (latex or leather) or if the size is a little too small.
Mike Bennett's colorful choice of briefs make them stand out. From the shiny blue, to bright pink and neon yellow he's drawing eyes to his big, bold package.
Cody Rhodes has a slew of briefs in the same style in a combination of black, white, maroon, blue and purple. The tight bottoms highlight his ass, when he wears the tighty white-y ones it's even more pronounced.
Tyler Reks debuted as a laid back surfer with tight briefs that practically has his ass showing right through. He then changed his gimmick to a beast of a man complete with kinky leather briefs. When he joined Hawkins to form a tag team their briefs laid tribute to classic wrestlers like Bret Hart (in pink.) Just before quitting, he appeared once with Hawkins with a Magic Mike gimmick and new briefs made to look like underwear.
It's just like the regular brief only, as its name implies, the waist comes up slightly higher, usually up to the bellybutton. When these men are wearing so little to begin with what this extra half-inch does is beyond me. Fortunately, during the course of the match, they get tugged down at the top and pulled up from the bottom.
