"Gay" Wrestlers

Somehow over the years, the flamboyant wrestler gimmick morphed into the flamboyant  metro-sexual or even "gay" wrestler gimmick. Here's a look at some of the gimmicks from the past couple of decades:
Kwee Wee - The WCW star Allen Funk came out with the Kwee Wee gimmick, wearing pink and bright colored tights, glitter and makeup. While he was never "out" -- and at times he had a female companion (beard) -- the stereotypical feminine look pretty much spelled it out.

Lenny & Lodi: The West Hollywood Blonds - This ambiguously gay duo had all the gay stereotypes too: pink and bright neon colored short shorts, glitter, sucking on lollipops, and somehow always getting knocked down with their faces in each others' crotches. The two were unceremoniously pulled from TV by TBS's S&P.
Billy & Chuck - The most famous "gay" duo started off being great friends, but soon found themselves in compromising positions and checking out each others' asses. They found success with winning the tag team titles, but after a marriage proposal they both came out at their wedding... as two straight guys doing the gay thing to try and be popular. Uh, okay... I'll forget the ending and imagine they had a happily ever after, thank you.
Rico - Billy & Chuck's stylist and mastermind behind their marriage plot. While never "out" his association with Billy & Chuck and equally flamboyant wardrobe shouted it out to everyone who saw him.
Orlando Jordan - The TNA star debuted a gimmick that mimicked his real life -- the bisexual wrestler. Naturally that meant he had to show up wearing makeup and pink shorts.

Other "gay" or sexually ambiguous gimmicks include: Adrian Adonis from the 80s, cross-dressing Vito and, of course, Goldust.
